Let LaCi make your next event the talk of the town!
Based in Wilmington, North Carolina and comprised of some of the Port City’s most versatile musicians, the members of LaCi have played together - in one configuration or another for over 10 years. LaRaisha Burnette on vocals, Chiaki Ito on piano, Rob Murphrey on drums, Jared Cline on guitar, and Christopher Marcellus on bass have joined forces to create one of Wilmington’s most exciting groups. The band has been seen in many diverse settings, from backing rock-musicals at City Stage, Thalian Hall, and Raleigh’s Memorial Auditorium and Theatre in the Park to opening for R&B legend O’Bryan at Greenfield Lake Amphitheatre. We cover many genres, including rock, jazz, blues, pop, and reggae. Music is our passion and we have all been performing professionally for years.
We would love to play for your wedding, engagement party, corporate event, holiday party, fundraiser, public event, birthday party, anniversary party, graduation party, wine tasting, or festival, just to name a few!

LaRaisha Burnette (vocals) LaRaisha is a performer, songwriter, "Jill" of all trades is so ready to come at you with her passionate and sincere lyrics that seem to burst through each note and chord. Her style is clearly her own with a collection of soulful piano ballads, upbeat dance anthems, funky electro-pop tunes and some good old-fashioned pop tracks. Her voice, much like her name is one you won’t forget, garnering the attention of the industry in varying mediums: including a tour withNickelodeon’s Backyardigans Live, a performance in front of Jackie Chan at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore and her father, O’Bryan, (a recording artist with four hit albums on Capitol Records) who lent his musical expertise early on, to his musically gifted daughter. She now resides in Wilmington, where she has performed for City Stage which garnered her two Star News Theatre Awards in 2013.
